James Hardy, Jr. R.I.
(British, 1832-1889)

The son of J. Hardy, he worked in Bristol painting moors and sporting scenes in oil and watercolor. He was elected A.N.W.S. and N.W.S. in 1874 and 1877, and studio sales of his work were held by Christie's on March 9, 1878 and April 4, 1889.
